ASCP has established a number of list servers (email discussion groups) to facilitate networking and sharing of information among members with similar interests. ASCP members serve a variety of different practice settings with unique needs and requirements. These list servers provide a way for members in these settings to assist each other and to provide help to members who are just getting started in these settings.

Before enrolling in a discussion group, please read the Guidelines for Use of ASCP's List Servers.

If you have any administrative questions about any list server, please do not email to the entire group, but rather contact listmaster@ascp.com.

Open List Servers

In addition to the ASCP members-only list servers described below, ASCP has three open discussion groups that may be of interest to both members and non-members.

Geriatric Pharmacotherapy list server
ASCP operates an email discussion group on geriatric pharmacotherapy. This group has over 600 subscribers, mostly pharmacists, and is not limited to ASCP members. Senior Care Pharmacist Forum list server
Pharmacists who provide consulting services to senior adults outside nursing facilities. This includes pharmacists serving older adults in home and community-based settings. Pharmacists providing pharmaceutical products or services to prisons, jails, or other correctional facilities

This hospice and palliative care forum is for pharmacists who serve hospices or terminally ill patients

ICF/MR Facilities
Pharmacists who provide consulting or dispensing services to intermediate care facilities for the mentally retarded (developmentally disabled)

Independent Consultant Pharmacists
Pharmacists who have their own independent consulting practice

LTC Model Rules
Pharmacists who are interested in working with their State Board of Pharmacy to adopt the NABP/ASCP LTC Model Rules

Pharmacy Owners and Managers
Pharmacists who own or manage a pharmacy

Pharmacy Students
ASCP Student Members who are interested in this career path

Veterans Affairs
Pharmacists providing pharmaceutical consulting services to VA facilities
