ASCP has learned that Convention Expo Travel is contacting our  membership and exhibitors offering to assist with hotel reservations in New Orleans for the upcoming Senior Care Pharmacy ’08 annual meeting and exhibition.  ASCP does not have a contract with this company to manage hotel reservations in New Orleans or any other city where it holds its meetings.
ASCP has contracted Wyndham Jade to manage hotel reservations for the annual meeting and exhibition and all room reservations should be made through www.ascp.com.   Online housing and registration will open on or about July 1st. ASCP has five (5) hotels in New Orleans contracted with sufficient room blocks to accommodate all of our attendees and exhibitors at the special ASCP convention rates.  Should you receive an e-mail or phone call from Convention Expo Travel, ASCP strongly recommends you DO NOT make your New Orleans hotel reservation with them.  If you have already made hotel reservations through Convention Expo Travel ASCP is unable to guarantee the reservation is valid and recommends that you cancel them immediately before you incur charges. Please be assured that ASCP is committed to providing you with quality services to make your meeting experiences positive, and we will vigorously pursue this organization to prevent unauthorized contact.
