Jeremiah, Based on the recent FAQ on, Even if January 1, 2018 will be the official time for adoption of the BCGP designation, but they said effective immediately, Certified GeriatricPharmacists can begin the transition to use of the BCGP designation. Either designation (CGP orBCGP) can be used during the transition period as supplies of business cards, etc. are consumed.
