As the international voice for consultant and senior care pharmacists, ASCP provides you with educational opportunities that prepare you to successfully navigate the shifting landscape of post-acute and senior care pharmacy.

Membership is not required for enrollment in ASCP continuing education activities; however, ASCP members receive discounts on all ASCP educational programs.

The ASCP Learning Center makes it easy to find the educational activities you are looking for, including BCGP prep and recertification activities, CE that fulfills specific state requirements, such as HIV and patient safety, Florida-board approved consultant pharmacist credits, and more.

BECOME A SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT

ASCP is looking for geriatric pharmacotherapy specialists and consultant pharmacy practice experts to help develop and review activities for pharmacists interested in medication use in older adults. Learn more and apply here.

ACPE AND CPE MONITOR

ACPE and CPE Monitor requires ASCP to submit CPE credits within 60 days of a live activity. Participants must claim CPE credits by completing the course evaluation within 60 days. No exceptions or extensions permitted. We encourage you to review your profile to make sure your NABP e-PID and date of birth are correct, as the CPE Monitor system reject CPE credits with incorrect information. Please routinely check your NABP profile to ensure credits are correct, as it is your responsibility to maintain your pharmacy license.

GERIATRIC PHARMACY CURRICULUM GUIDE

The guide is a resource designed to prepare pharmacy students and pharmacists with the education needed to care for older adults. This 3rd edition of the Guide links foundational geriatric principles of care necessary for pharmacy students with the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy CAPE (Center for the Advancement of Pharmacy Education) Outcomes and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education’s Accreditation Standards and Guidelines.
