Inside Symposia - What and Why

This option marks a collaborative effort between the medical education company and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) to work together to provide high quality educational activities for pharmacists.  This unique opportunity is the offering of inside symposia within the regularly scheduled hours of ASCP's educational programming. Inside symposia slots are available for qualified and accepted proposals.  Attendance at these activities varies and is dependent on topic, speakers, and a variety of other factors.  Typically between 100-150 pharmacists may attend these activities.  All companies who wish to co-sponsor inside symposia are required to prepare a complete proposal according to the guidelines set forth for consideration of their activities.

Overall Goal

The goal is to enhance the quality of educational activities at the ASCP national meetings through a partnership with the medical education companies and ASCP.
