Target Audience:
This activity has been designed for senior care pharmacists involved in selecting therapies to treat overactive bladder in the elderly patient.

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this application-based activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the potential impact of anticholinergic burden on older adults.
  • Evaluate patients for common causes, including medications, of overactive bladder (OAB).
  • Describe lifestyle modifications that can help to relieve OAB.
  • Given a patient case, select appropriate medications for treating a patient with overactive bladder
