ASCP Welcomes New Staff and a New Partnership with Butler University

Alexandria, VA —The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) is welcoming new additions to its team and expanding roles for existing staff members.
As of January 1, 2019, ASCP’s Senior Director of Education, Erin Albert, MBA, PharmD, JD has started a joint position as a clinical instructor with Butler University. The position is unique as it is one of the first national/international association partnerships with a university.
On January 7, Veronica Charles will join ASCP’s team as its government affairs manager. Charles, a former staff assistant to the United States Senate and state lobbyist, brings to ASCP an inside understanding of the federal policy process and regulations that influence current health priorities. She will provide support to committees, advocacy outreach programs, and initiatives related to public policies impacting ASCP members.
On January 14, ASCP will also welcome Erik Koster as its senior director of meetings. Koster has worked in the hospitality field for over 20 years and has more than 14 years of experience delivering high-end events. He brings to ASCP a specialization in corporate health care events serving c-suite executives.
