Speakers Announced for 2-Day Workshop on Geriatric Pharmacotherapy
Alexandria, VA—The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) has announced the speaker lineup for its 2017 Geriatric Pharmacist Boot Camp, to be held April 29-30, 2017 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Speakers include: Emily P. Peron, PharmD, MS, BCPS, FASCP; Sue Burns, BS Pharm, BCGP, CRE; Keith A. Swanson, PharmD, BCGP; Scott Martin Vouri, PharmD, MSCI, BCPS, BCGP, FASCP; Kelechi Ogbonna, PharmD, BCGP; Ericka Crouse, PharmD, BCPP, CGP, FASHP and John Bucheit, PharmD, CDE, BCACP.
The ASCP Geriatric Pharmacist Boot Camp is a two-day workshop with advanced training to help pharmacists prepare for the board certification examination and to offer recertification credits to BCGP-credentialed pharmacists. Day 1 of the Boot Camp focuses on the Exam Content Outline. Day 2 concentrates on advanced level pharmacotherapeutic cases in the high priority diseases identified in the Content Outline. The ASCP Geriatric Pharmacist Boot Camp offers 17 Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (BCGP) recertification credits over two days. Attendees can register for Day 1, Day 2, or both days of the Boot Camp. Attendees registered for the full Boot Camp (Day 1 & Day 2) have the option to purchase the “Flex Plan,” recordings from both days, for $99.00.
